How to Install a Spare Iris Camera

If an Iris camera requires maintenance and your IT/Biomed has confirmed it needs replacement, it's a very simple process to get the spare camera up and running in the bed space.

  1. Submit a support ticket through the Support Tab on your site or by emailing support@angeleyecameras.com. Please include the bed space name/number, the numbers listed on the back of the broken camera, and the numbers on the back of the spare camera.

  2. Unplug the wire from the camera head and take the camera off of the mounting arm.

  3. Bring the spare camera to that bed space, plug it in, and secure it onto the mounting arm. Make sure that the collar on the base is secure and that no gold ring is showing.

  4. Once you plug in the spare camera at that bed space, AngelEye support will connect it to the site.

  5. Package up the broken camera and one of our team members will create a shipping label for you to send it back to AngelEye. We will then send you another spare.

Note: This process does not apply to legacy cameras.
